Martin joins Catalyst in a new role as a Regional Development Director (North), he will be joined by Max Woodman who has been with Catalyst since 2014 and has been promoted to Regional Development Director (South). Both Martin and Max will be responsible for driving forward business in the larger deal arena and ensuring that Catalyst delivers specialist short term finance assistance to the corporate marketplace. Martin has over 35 years experience in the finance industry and has worked for a number of high profile invoice finance providers including Aldermore, Hitachi and most recently Ultimate Finance.

Chris Falby joins the team as Client Account Director and will be responsible for the London and South East area. He has previously worked for RBS, Santander, IGF and most recently Siemens in a number of senior business development roles.

A further addition to the sales team is Ross Gandy. Ross joins Catalyst as a Client Account Director and will be responsible for seeking deals in and around the Liverpool, Chester and the North Wales area of the North West region. Ross has previously worked for Euler Hermes and most recently was Network Director for URICA Ltd.

Tony McGaw has been appointed as Direct Sales Executive and joins Catalyst’s Direct Sales Team, based out of the Warrington office. Martine Catton, Sales and Marketing Director for Catalyst comments

“We are committed to driving forward the business and recruiting high calibre appointments, which only serves to demonstrate that we are determined to further make our mark in the market. Martin and Max’s appointments allow us to elevate our proposition and demonstrate further how we can work collaboratively with all lenders to devise finance solutions for larger SMEs.”

She continues

“Appointing Chris into the London & South East region allows us to leverage his expertise and network to further develop the Catalyst brand. Ross’s appointment will complement our existing presence in the North West and provides us with greater opportunities to support our intermediary community in the region. And with Tony supplementing this effort by seeking and developing new relationships across the UK, I’m confident that we will soon see the fruits of our labour.”
